I had a wonderful stay at Macaron Guest House, nestled in beautiful gardens and just a stone's throw away from the vibrant Main Street of Franschhoek. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, making it a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious, truly a highlight of my mornings. While my room was a bit dark and located near the entry gate, it was still comfortable, and I wouldn't hesitate to return, especially to try out one of the better rooms. Overall, it was excellent value for money.

While the grounds are absolutely beautiful and the service was mostly friendly, there were several issues, particularly with cleanliness and the dining experience that left me disappointed.
